The European Capital of Culture Liverpool
The city Liverpool has a startling range of attractions. It has been awarded the Capital Of Culture. The architecture is world class, with more listed buildings then any city outside London. The heart of the city and its waterfront sit proudly alongside treasures like the Taj Mahal and Pyramids at Giza as a World Heritage Site. On the Wirral side of the river, you can find the stunning new Spaceport attraction at the Seacombe ferry terminal.

Stop at Cavern Walks for stylish boutiques, including Cricket and Vivienne Westwood, before heading over to the waterfront to the Albert Dock, and its bars and boutique shops.
Escape the city with a visit to Knowsley Safari Park and while youre in Knowsley, drop in to the National Wildflower Centre. Both Croxteth Hall and Country Park and Speke Hall boast stunning architecture and lovingly tended gardens, while the windswept beauty of Wirral Country Park is the ultimate escape.
