Making a theatrical adaptation of Lord of the Flies, need a hut prop?
So here we go, I gotta make a theatrical adaptation of Lord of The Flies, but you can help me out here even if you haven't read it. I need to make a hut that I can bring on stage. Not anything fancy or over the top. And my play will only be about 4 minutes long, so the only real requirement is that my audience can recognize it as a hut/shelter. I was considering using a small tent, but I'm not sure if I can get my hands on one. The best part is that the hut is supposed to be rickety and unstable, so even if it doesn't stand on its own, it's fine. Any ideas?
If you have read the book, I have to act out the scene where Simon and Ralph are struggling to make the last hut while all the other boys are off playing.
why do you need a full hut? pehaps you could just be trying to tie branches together.
