I am auditioning for "West Side Story" at a local theater company. I dont know what to put on my resume! Help!
It says you need a headshot and a resume . It also said i need to bring sheet music in the proper key. I don't know what that means and it says No rock songs alllowed does anyone have any song suggestions!?! I am just starting out and I don't know any of this stuff. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Head Shot = You need an 8" x 10" photo of your head, from the shoulders up. Look straight at the camera and make a nice, relaxed smile.
Sheet Music = Figure out what song you'd like to sing at the audition. Get the printed music from the internet, your local music store, or library. The pianist at the audition hall will play as you sing.
Resume = Write up a list of your performance work: List your parts in plays, TV, radio, internet, video, etc. List your recordings. Describe your training, dance lessons, instruments played, singing. List any special skills: Mime, martial arts, juggling, etc.
