Props For Hire
Everyone wants their party to be unique. Props for hire can turn an event into a really exceptional one – a themed "play", where all the guests are characters.
Usually, the idea of an evening where they might be expected to play some kind of role strikes fear into the heart of prospective guests. So what are props for hire? Props for hire can be any bit of "business" hired to make an evening more fun. Large props for hire, like period-themed bar counters (fancy staging a "last night on the Titanic" party?) and gaming tables, set the theme of a night and form a living set in which the guests can "act". Smaller props for hire, in these examples, would include dinner sets embossed with the emblem of the White Star Line; gambling chips; place settings in the form of playing cards; and lifejackets. Props for hire suitable for a 20s themed party might include feather boas, period-styled glasses, speakeasy chairs and tables or even a fake speakeasy door, with a slit guests have to say a password into. As large as full set dressing, or as little as themed place cards, props for hire add an extra dimension of fun and involvement to an evening. Where else, after all, can a grown man still pretend to be a cowboy? Props for hire turn parties into plays, guests into actors and actresses. All that remains for the host is to take a gratified bow when the curtain goes down at the end of the night.
