How many times has the Paris Opera House been used in Phantom of the Opera films and plays.?
I mean how often has it been used in fact as the film set for the above productions.
You mean how many Phantom of the Opera films are actually shot on scene at the actual opera house? Only once as far as I know. Most Phantom of the Opera stories, film or play are set in the opera house, but mostly through reconstructed sets on a back lot or sound stage.
The 1990 Mini-Series of Phantom of the Opera with Charles Dance was, if I'm not mistaken, the only film to actually be shot in the Paris Opera Garnier itself.
