What are good ink limits for a Roland SP-300V?
An SP-300V is a device sign makers would know about.
I think what you're asking for is an estimated "page yield" on your inks? On the Roland website, they state "ink running costs as low as 16 cents per sq ft" - but they dont state their factors in determining this cost...
Basically, unlike small ink-jet printers or even laser machines, it's just one thing on wide format printers that just 'isn't discussed' per se... there are just too too many factors in wide format that contribute to page yield on inks... and every type of print could be dramatically different..
Page yield can change depending on the following factors:
type of print being done (e.g. phone? Line drawing? etc..)
size of print being done (5x7 - 24x36 - 40x36 etc..)
dpi of print being done (400dpi? 600dpi? 1200 dpi?)
colors in print being done (is it a black/white - full color?)
the media it's being printed on (fabric? bond? banner?)
You also have two different sizes of ink cartridges that this machine uses.. the 440 or the 220 so it would also depend on which you were using....
The Roland website offers a 'user forum' -- you might want to go on there and just ask what current uses have found to be "average" and what they base an "average print" to be
