is there a Dress code for a comedy show at Carnegie hall?
Hi all,
I'm going to go see a comedy show (ricky gervais) at Carnegie Hall, but i'm not sure what is appropriate to wear (for a male that is). I mean, comedy shows at other venues are casual, but what about at Carnegie Hall?
I've actually performed at Carnegie Hall several times and I know that even though black slacks, white shirt and a suit are very popular, noone frowns upon a clean pair of jeans (maybe black dress shoes to go with that) and a nice button down shirt. As long as you dont look disgusting or like you just came from a construction job, noone really cares. Its not like you're the performer. Try no to wear t shirts though or shorts. Take my advice and just use your good common sense man. Have Fun
